Deviation Actions
How long have you been on DeviantArt? — I first joined in December 2005, but under a slightly different username (daghrgenzen).
What does your username mean? — It means nothing in any language as far as I know! I just typed in random letters at first, and couldn't log out for months as I couldn't remember how to type it again. But now, Daghrgenzeen is just who I am on the internet. I use this username on other social media websites as well.
Describe yourself in three words. — Solitary, goofy, stressball.
Are you left or right handed? — Leftie.
What was your first deviation? — My first ever Deviation is no longer accessible, it was a poem called "Death of a Rosy Flower" or something. But my first Deviation on this particular account? This:
What is your favourite type of art to create? — I mostly create literature, but I also love taking photographs. I used to draw and paint, and occassionally I do stuff with GIMP and crochet.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? — Digital painting of portraits. I'd love to give my characters an appearance as I imagine them to be in my head.
What was your first favourite? — My first ever Favourite, I've no idea. On this account... hmm, I've so many collections I don't know. But browsing my 'Featured' Collection, this shows up at the last page:
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? — Images, I think. Photographs, drawings, paintings... but also quite a lot of Literature, too. Poems.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? — I find this question so unfair and limiting, there are so many!! I enjoy so many different types of artworks...
Agina's use of colours, and her sense of humour. Icemaya's, too!
NemoX7 weaves words together like a wizard.
slenderblade, Farand, chromeantennae, introverted-ghost and so many more others always give refreshing, deep, thoughtful insights to the world and the human mind through their works.
Pajunen and AshleyxBrooke's photographs are breath-takingly gorgeous.
phydeau's photographs have inspired me to take more hmm brave photos of myself (only a few are posted here).
SpcatsTasha's magnificent cosplays. *-*
K-Koji & sakimichan's digital works... just gosh.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? — Again, there are so damn many. People...! I've already met a handful of other DArtists, but but... all my friends from Europe and US and Australia and of course dorrrrin and nosugarjustanger.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? — Quite a many of them have, in fact. You guys have kept me sane through some really difficult times. Your encouragement and kind-heartedness is what keeps me coming back to this place.
What are your preferred tools to create art? — Keyboard of my laptop a notebook and a pen; my Canon PowerShot SX120 IS. That's... about all I have anyway. Lol.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? — Recently I've been enjoying our office/guestroom and its bed. I'd have an amazing desk and a chair, too, but somehow the bed is... good.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? — Ummm so many ohh mmmm hmmm. Well, just one word. #devart
Thanks everyone so much for the birthday wishes and the little gifts! A lot of people mentioned me in their Journals and said lots of nice things about me. All this love. ;w; I just hope I'm able to give all of it back!!
